Das mit den Vorsätzen ist so eine Sache, kennt man ja die alte Leier. Also könnte man meinen, dass ich mir auch nix vornehme. Aber so einfach ist das nicht. Gestern bin ich auf einem Blog über einen schönen Vorsatz gestolpert:

Mehr Sein, weniger Wollen.

Find ich gut, muss ich mal ausprobieren.

Das Mädchen möchte verreisen und hat sich London ausgesucht. War ja klar. Also braucht sie einen Pass. Und für einen Pass braucht man ein Passfoto, wie bei den Großen. Kein Problem, wenn das Fräulein auch mal in die Kamera gucken würde. Ich hab ihr gesagt, dass das so nix wird mit der Teatime, schwupps hatten wir unser Bild im Kasten. Geht doch. Wir verraten jetzt mal keinem, dass sie in 3 Wochen wahrscheinlich wieder ganz anders aussieht, aber das wissen die ja alle selber.

Wir werden irgendwann demnächst umziehen. Und weil umziehen nervig und einrichten toll ist, mach ich mir so meine Gedanken. Wie zum Beispiel die neue Küche aussehen könnte. In den Verpackungen steckten kleine Marshmellowürfel mit salzigem Karamell und Schokoüberzug. So was mag ich. Wenn dann noch die Farben prima in mein Küchenkonzept passen ist das toll, oder? Was mir noch gefällt:

Die Küche habe ich bei dosfamily.com gefunden. Wo auch immer sie ihr restliches Geschirr versteckt haben, ich finde es sieht toll aus.

we were hanging around between my birthday and new years eve. And then we got sick. But here´s the new year with things to eat, places to travel, people to meet and life to discover. Sounds like a good one. So help yourself with some tea and get ready for the journey!

One of the birthdays celebrated was mine so i had cake party yesterday. See for yourself what a great time we had. Thank you everybody for making this birthday so special and delicious!

Things i learned today: Timbuktu which i often use for something as far as possible is a very dangerous city in africa. So maybe i should change my phrase into something more friendly. It makes me a little bit sad that i will probably never see Timbuktu. Hopefully i will see the land where pepper grows one day!

to the latest family addition: Our little bergamot tree! In case you have no clue what i´m talking about: It´s some kind of a citrus fruit. The oil in the bergamots skin is for example used in my favourite earl grey tea. It looks like a green orange but its taste is quite bitter and sour in a refreshing way. Now you wonder why i´m so excited. Just because i wanted a bergamot for quite a long time and because its such a special fruit. Simple as this.

It´s the time of the season where every stove in the whole country is busy baking  cookies. So today this is what i made: Cookies. And i found a bergamot tree. Yes a bergamot tree. You´re probably not nearly excited as i am. But nevermind, i´m going to introduce you tomorrow. The little tree needs some sleep.
